1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Mehram Match. By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of the platform — the website, admin dashboard, consultant app or a family invite page — you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What Mehram Match provides

Mehram Match is a technology platform for registered matrimonial consultants. It lets them manage the profiles of the people they represent, check the compatibility of their members with members of other consultants, send and respond to match requests, hold encrypted case discussions, and invite family members into those discussions.

Mehram Match does not arrange marriages itself, does not act as anyone's agent, and does not guarantee any match, introduction or outcome.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• Consultant accounts are for adults (18 or older) who provide accurate details and complete identity verification (KYC) when asked.
• Each account is for one person. Keep your password and one-time passwords confidential — you are responsible for everything done through your account.
• We may approve, reject, suspend or close accounts, for example when verification fails or these terms are broken.
• Tell us immediately at the address below if you think your account has been misused.

4. Member profiles and consent

If you are a consultant, for every member profile you add you confirm that:

• The member has given informed consent for their details and photos to be placed on Mehram Match and shared with other consultants for matchmaking.
• The member is of legal marriageable age under the law that applies to them.
• The information is true and complete to the best of your knowledge, and you will keep it up to date.
• You will mark the profile inactive, or remove it, when the member is no longer seeking a match or withdraws consent.

5. Matching and match requests

Compatibility results compare two members on sect, practicing level, belief in dargah, additional preferences and age. They are guidance based only on the information consultants have entered — not an assessment of character, family or suitability.

Consultants must use their own judgement and make their own enquiries before proposing or accepting any match. Accepting a match request opens a case discussion; it creates no obligation on anyone to proceed with a marriage.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Create false, misleading or unauthorised profiles, or impersonate anyone.
• Use member information for any purpose other than matchmaking through Mehram Match, or copy, export or share it outside the platform.
• Harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against any person.
• Upload unlawful, obscene or infringing content, or anything containing malware.
• Scrape the platform, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with the platform's security or operation.
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose other than your matrimonial consultancy.

7. Family invites

Consultants may invite family members into a case discussion. You are responsible for whom you invite and approve, and for choosing whether they may see earlier messages. An invite link carries access to the conversation, so share it only privately with the intended person, and remove a relative from the discussion when their access is no longer appropriate.

Invited family members may use the discussion only for the case they were invited to, and must follow these terms.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the profiles, photos, notes and messages you submit. You give Mehram Match permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the platform. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to share it.

Case discussion text is encrypted on the sender's device, so we cannot read it; we may still act on reports of misuse, including by removing accounts.

9. Subscriptions and payments

• Some features require a paid subscription. The price, duration and features of each plan are shown before you buy.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices are subject to applicable taxes.
• A subscription gives access for the period purchased. Refunds are provided only as stated for the plan at the time of purchase, or where the law requires.
• We may change plan prices for future periods; changes never affect a period you have already paid for.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if these terms are broken, if verification fails, if we suspect fraud or misuse, or where the law requires it. You may stop using Mehram Match at any time and ask us to delete your account. Sections that by their nature should continue — such as content ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability — survive termination.

11. Our intellectual property

The Mehram Match name, logo, software and design belong to us. You may use the platform only as these terms allow, and may not copy, modify or resell any part of it.

12. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We review consultants' identity documents, but we do not and cannot verify every statement in a profile, and we are not responsible for the conduct of consultants, members or invited family members. We do not promise that the platform will always be available or free of errors.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Mehram Match is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profit or reputation, arising from use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

14. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Mehram Match for any loss, claim or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your misuse of the platform.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and we will tell account holders about significant changes. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
